We are based in Atlanta, GA, but we travel both across the U.S. and internationally, always seeking our next adventure.

At our organization, we strongly believe that everyone, regardless of race, gender, age, or socioeconomic status, should have equal access to the outdoors. Sadly, there aren’t many safe spaces for Black and Brown people outside. So, our mission and social goal will always be to create a welcoming and secure environment for the Black community outdoors. We welcome allies who share our mission to join us as we build a strong community of outdoor enthusiasts and make outdoor activities accessible to everyone.

It depends on the adventure! For partnered events with recreation outfitters, their team will assist our group. Additionally, Peace in the Wild has a dedicated team of Outdoor Leaders trained, certified, and licensed in areas such as wilderness first aid, CPR, psychotherapy, respiratory therapy, the Marine Corps, Air Force, somatic healing, herbalism, and more. Our leaders are present at every event to ensure your safety and support.
-
We encourage all attendees to arrive early and on time because we aim to start promptly. We understand things happen so will give a small grace period, but anything after that forfeits your spot to participate. Reminder: there are no refunds, credits, or transfers for paid events.
