Who We Are
Peace in the Wild (PITW) is a community-driven organization dedicated to getting underrepresented people outdoors. We bridge the gap between people and nature by providing hands-on group experiences that build skills, confidence, and a deep sense of responsibility for the land. Through our programs, we empower communities to not only enjoy the outdoors but to actively protect and advocate for it.
What We Do
We host monthly outdoor experiences on both land and water. Our activities include kayaking, surfing, hiking, rock climbing, biking, volunteering, and so much more. Additionally, we partner with mission-aligned eco-businesses to support the local economy and sustainability efforts. We welcome participants of all skill levels, ages, and abilities, ensuring equitable outdoor access.
“Exploring and conserving the great outdoors, one adventure at a time.”
